Features

Xaar four color variable drop provids smooth transition dot which CMYK printers are unable to achieve, with a level of sharpness only before seen at resolution of 1440 dpi or higher. Dots can be varied from 8 pl (picoliter) for perfectly legible 3 pl to 40 pl for high density solid colors.

Solid white is added by 2 of Xaar J500/40UV heads providing exceptionally solid white for background printing, covering enabling printing of bright, vibrant colors even on transparent and darkly colored media.

The TeckStorm print head carriage moves in both X and Y axis direction over a fixed print bed, providing accurate print alignment even for thick or heavy materials.

The TeckStorm ink supply system is designed to offer consistently reliable and easy-to-control ink supply critical in UV curable printing. The following features are included as standard.

The negative pressure system is clearly displayed, easily adjustable and ensures stable Vacuum Pressure to the ink supply.

A newly designed valve system simplifies printer maintenance.

A unique vibrating system keeps the white ink moving and prevents settling or separating of the White ink.

The UV Lamp curing system is fitted with shutters which provide accurate curing for optimal ink adhesion to substrate whilst reducing the exposure of the media by up to 50%. This protects the material from distortion and helps to protect the print heads from UV Lamp reflection thus providing high reliability of the TeckStorm during print runs.

The TeckStorm boasts 8 individual vacuum hold down pumps with 8 individual sections that can be turned on or off to suit different sizes of material. Strong suction power helps to protect flexible material from puckering or lifting during printing for maximum flexibility in media handling .

The height of carriage is adjusted via the Teckprint Software simply by inserting the material to be printed. The TeckStorm supports media thicknesses up to 50mm.

Sub surface registration pins aid easy edge-to-edge printing.

High quality servo motors coupled to dual lead screws and a high resolution raster ensure consistent ultra high resolution print whilst printing Bi directionally for increased productivity. The head carriage is supported by twin rails to ensure accurate alignment and movement with a minimum of vibration to achieve maximizing print quality.
